Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Community, Inclusion & Giving
Each December, the Batesville community comes together to celebrate the season while strengthening unity and compassion. Our organization’s annual holiday initiative brings residents, families, and supporters together to enjoy the spirit of the season and make a meaningful impact. Participants are invited to wear festive attire, join in community activities, and donate toys to brighten the holidays for children in need.

Our Mission
The Batesville Area Inclusion and Diversity organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and connected community. We work to promote understanding, celebrate diversity, and create spaces where every individual feels valued and supported. What began as a small, community-driven effort has grown into a meaningful movement dedicated to strengthening unity across the Batesville area.
Why We Do It
We believe that respect, compassion, and inclusion are essential to a thriving community. By bringing people together through educational initiatives, cultural programs, and collaborative events, we help build stronger relationships and create opportunities for all. Our work ensures that every resident—regardless of background—has a place in the Batesville community and access to the support they need to feel seen, heard, and included.
🎅 Holiday Community Toy Drive Event
Celebrate the season with us as we bring the Batesville community together for an evening of joy, connection, and giving. This festive gathering invites friends, families, and supporters to join in holiday fun while helping make a meaningful difference for local children.
📅 Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
⏰ Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
💲 Cost: Free to join — simply bring an unwrapped toy 🎁
👗 What to Wear: Ugly sweaters, holiday costumes, or any cheerful seasonal attire
🎁 Purpose: All donated toys will be distributed to families in need across the Batesville area, supporting our mission to build a more inclusive and caring community.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
💖 Sponsor Us – Partner with us to showcase your business and support the community.
